Privacy Policy

1. What Data We Collect

When you book an appointment through DocCliq, we collect:

• Full name — to identify you at the clinic
• Phone number — to look up your appointments and for the clinic to contact you if needed
• Email address (optional) — to send you a booking confirmation and 24-hour reminder
• Reason for visit (optional, free text) — visible to the clinic only
• Appointment details — date, time, doctor, booking number, and status

We do not collect date of birth, address, insurance details, payment card numbers, or any clinical or medical information.

2. What We Do Not Collect

DocCliq is not a medical records system. We explicitly do not store:

• Medical records, diagnoses, or clinical notes
• Prescriptions or medication history
• Lab results, imaging, or test data
• Health conditions or chronic illness information
• Insurance or government health ID numbers

If a clinic adds notes to a booking (e.g. a doctor note after a visit), that note is stored as plain text in the booking record and is visible to the clinic only — not shared with other clinics or third parties.

3. How We Use Your Data

Your booking data is used to:

• Create and display your appointment record
• Allow you to look up, cancel, or reschedule your booking using your phone number
• Send a booking confirmation email (if email provided)
• Send a 24-hour appointment reminder email (if email provided)
• Allow the clinic to manage their schedule and see who is booked

4. Who Can See Your Data

Your booking information is accessible to:

• The clinic you booked with — clinic managers and staff with dashboard access can see your name, phone, reason, and appointment details
• You — by entering your phone number on the My Appointments page
• DocCliq infrastructure — our database (Supabase) stores the records securely

Your data is not shared with other clinics, advertisers, or data brokers. DocCliq does not sell personal data.

5. Email Communications

If you provide an email address, you will receive:

• A booking confirmation immediately after booking
• A reminder 24 hours before your appointment

We do not send marketing emails. We do not add you to mailing lists. Email is sent via Resend from bookings@doccliq.com.

6. Data Retention

Booking records are retained for as long as the clinic account is active, to allow you to view past appointments. If a clinic closes their account, their booking data may be deleted. You can request deletion of your personal data by contacting us at support@doccliq.com.

7. Security

All data is stored in a secured Supabase database with row-level access controls. Access to clinic data requires authenticated clinic accounts. Patient-facing lookup is limited to records matching the phone number entered. We do not store passwords in plain text.

8. Cookies

DocCliq uses a single cookie named locale to remember your language preference (English or Armenian). This cookie contains no personal data and is not used for tracking or advertising.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. To make a request, email us at support@doccliq.com with your name and the phone number used to book. We will respond within 14 days.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "last updated" date above. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
